Moody Concepts LLC was founded in created by Marcus Moody Jr in December 2015. His background is in marketing and restaurant operations. After working in marketing for a national donut chain he had bigger aspirations of owning and operating his own food concepts. With so many ideas he just could not decide on one, so he thought to himself why not do all of them?

He first started with his first idea of opening a Smoothie Concept called Smoothie Run, then two years later opportunity to open another restaurant right next door presented itself so Charlie Mae's Soul food was opened to preserve his grandmother namesake. Then out of nowhere Covid 19 hit the nation and started to close restaurants as all in-house dining was put to a halt. With the possibility of having to close his locations or Furlow staff he thought of an idea to not only pivot the restaurants to online delivery but to add other concepts as well out of separate commissary kitchens serving a variety of great foods. Marcus prides himself on working hard but also spending the same amount of energy on family and friends and always giving back to the community.
